Sweet deals at the yard sales
As we expected, it was a great day Saturday for some yard sale shopping. Our primary stop was up at Northeastern High School, where a fundraiser sale was being held.
These jars of honey from Dover were $6 each. It was great to find some local honey since it’s supposed to help with allergies. Thanks, Bawk-N-Buzz Farm of Dover, for being there!
Yard sales are great because you can sometimes find some very specific items to fit your very specific needs. In this instance, we got a nice version-specific iPod case and a climbing log for our hermit crabs. Total cost of the two items? $2.75.
Our smallest yard sale shopper loves puzzles and Disney Princesses, so this massive floor puzzle was a must-have. It also came with a look-and-find book.
DVDs and CDs continue to fill up our car as we shop at local yard sales. Yes, we could go digital, but its great to have a physical copies of media too. The issue, of course, is having enough physical storage space for them. It’s hard to say which is better.
