Suitable weather and good deals
Friday and Saturday seemed pretty dicey early in the week. The weather forecast had taken a turn for the worse, but by the end of the day on Saturday, we had managed to do pretty good. If you got hit by rain, you would have had to go looking for it. Sure the temperatures were on the cool side, but that’s okay for shopping.
Here are the scores for this weekend.

The Yard Sale Secrets team has a big family to look out for. Some of us have young kids, some of us have young grand kids. We want them all to be good readers and we were happy to find these like-new books. You can always find kids' book at yard sales since their original owners age out of them so quickly.

These new journalling books were a good deal at $1 each. We might not be doing and "dear diary" entries in them, but they're good for just about anything -- from grocery lists to inventory sheets to doodle pads.

These stationary kits were also $1 each. The ones in the top row will make great extra goodies to add to gift bags.

Its been years since we last attended an honest-to-goodness Tupperware party, but we still know the value of Tupperware. We got all these bowls and lids for $25, which is an incredible deal.

This handy and brand new hair-clipping kit will come in useful, even if we're sure our husband isn't going to let us touch a hair on his head. It was $5, and has various clippers, scissors and combs.
